We were delighted to welcome local lad Lewis Hancox back to St Helens in June 2022. Lewis’ mum and internet legend, Lynn, approached us about hosting a signing for his first book, Welcome To St Hell. The graphic novel is a memoir of his life as a transgender teen growing up in St Helens.
We hosted a drop-in meet & greet with Lewis on the 25th of June, Lynn supplied snacks, prosecco and personalised cupcakes!
We were so happy to see the shop heaving with customers, especially all the young people who related to Lewis’ experience. The day was a huge success and Welcome to St Hell has continued to sell extremely well and we are proud to say Lewis is one of our best selling authors to date!
